Covid-19 Safety
We have slightly amended our procedures to ensure the safety of guests. This list includes many of the processes we follow as standard.
There is no cancellation charge for bookings which are affected by the pandemic – if you book for 2020 and cannot travel due to illness, are restricted by quarantine/lockdown etc, you will receive a full refund.
We wear masks and disposable gloves when cleaning, when putting your welcome pack together to ensure high safety levels.
We disinfect as a minimum:
Everything in the bathroom
Door handles
Light switches
Banisters
Bed frames
All hard surfaces
Chairs at the dining table and breakfast bar
Remote controls
GPS and iPad
All wires and charger plugs
Keys and key rings
Garden chair arms and wipeable parts
Parasol handles/poles
We steam clean the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and living room floors as standard.
All dishes/utensils will be washed in the dishwasher after guests depart. We usually inspect kitchen items as standard, but will take this step as an extra precaution.
Bathroom products will still be supplied but in one place in each bathroom. They will be in a plastic wrap so you know they are germ free. If you don't wish to use them, just leave them to one side.
Hand soap will be supplied at all sinks. These will have been disinfected as part of our cleaning routine.
Coffee and tea and sugar will be in individual packets rather than jars – while this is not in line with our environmental policy, it is less wasteful in the current situation where we would otherwise have to dispose of unused product.
Kitchen cleaning cloths, sponges etc will be new, as they always are – we would never even consider leaving used cloths!
Bottles for any kitchen/bathroom cleaning products will be disinfected.
The kitchen bin is automatic so you don't need to touch it to dispose of your rubbish.
All of our information folders on site are in plastic folders/wallets and will be disinfected between guests.
